The Respect Ed. Team will be hosting a photobooth on Wednesday, April 1st to raise money for Operation Smile. Our classroom will take a photo together rather than individual photos. Please send $1.00 to school on Wednesday if you would like a copy of the picture. I will send the photos home as soon as they are ready.

The SRC is in need of a large amount of 4L milk jugs and would really appreciate your support. If you are able to help please send as many 4L milk jugs as you can to school by next Monday, March 2nd. They must be rinsed well and in good shape. We cannot accept squished milk jugs for this particular project.

The February newsletter is now available under the section of Classroom News. Please note an error on the calendar - the 3rd page (Feb. Calendar) says Swimming from 1:30 to 2:20. Our actual swim time is 1:30 to 2:30. Please remember to return your swimming permission slip by Monday!! The 100th Day of School Celebration note will be sent home on Monday along with a paper copy of our newsletter.
Also, be sure to make note of our Learn A Thon test date, which is Tuesday, Feb. 10. This is different than the rest of the school.

Your child has been sent home with a FREE book called "Doors in the Air" by David Weale. This gift has been provided by The Canadian Childrens Book Center, with the support of TD Bank Group. Their hope is to help all children develop of a love of reading, which is a common goal in our classroom! I hope you all enjoy! :)
